What about incentives?

They vary enormously from one builder to the next, and most builders here publish nothing. What is on the table at one community this month may not exist at the community down the road, and the same builder will structure it differently depending on whether you are going FHA or conventional, fixed or adjustable. Payment is principal and interest on the entry price with 20 percent down over 30 years at 5.5 percent, which is close to what builders here are landing buyers at. It excludes taxes and insurance on purpose. The tax line on a new build is almost always the bill on an empty lot and resets once the county reassesses the finished house.
